"We've been among the worst states in the united states. A lot of hospitalizations, a lot of deaths," he says. "I think some of those things kind of contributed to ti sik" He and his wife decided not to vaccinate their four children because they didn't want to fight about it. They did end up getting vaccinated; one son had no symptoms but two others got sick.
