The Importance of Penance
Every Friday throughout the entire year is meant to be a day of some kind of penance. If you can't make it to daily mass, one great, great thing is to decide even simply maybe to pray morning prayer or evening prayer. The last note here in 1439, I think it's so powerful and we'll end on this. It says, only the heart of Christ who knows the depth of his father's love could reveal to us the abyss of his mercy and so simple and beautiful away. And yet, since we've been raised Christian, where do we get it? We get it from Jesus himself.
