You were supposed to be a faithful city, and instead you've become a prostitute. This is covenant infidelity. And we'll see that act it out in the book of hoseah. We'll see it talked about in jeremiah here. Here it is in in isaiah as well. He goes on, it was full of judgment, righteousness lodged in it but now, murderers, let me give you anothera metaphor. Fo that thy silver is become dross. That's where your impurities outweigh the precious metal. The thy wine is mixed with water. Can you picture such a diluted discipleship that there's no flavour left? Thy princes are rebellious and companions of thieves
