The Brain Basis of Consciousness

On this view, the brain basis of consciousness is not going to be lots of independent things. Everythingis is too tightly glued together. So only in systems in this kind of woolly middle ground that people generally talk of as being in the realm of complex systems. The cerebellum does indeed look a little bit like this if you look at its anatomy.
