The Different Breeds of Sheep
There are differences in how good different breeds of sheep are at giving birth unaided. The herd wicks, which are normally kept on very barren upland torain in the north of england can give birth without any help. There are other breeds of sheep which are kept in lowland territory, under much closer watch and generally need more help with lambing. These are the sorts of dynamic interactions between humans and the animal kingdom. And i think they the fundamental fantasy of the machine, that we're somehow separable from it and entitled to instrumentalize it.
