The Magic of the Rings
There's a ton of magic throughout the entire trilogy. The difference is that Harry Potter makes it very organized and neat and twee so that oh you just say this word and you get this exact magical effect. I think that things magic is like an element and it underwrites every like facet of existence and it's not perfectly understood. And it's more frightening that we don't know the true extent of the rings power there's all this magic that's unsaidThat's what to me makes Lord of the Rings more interesting and adults and complicated than Harry Potter.
