Silicon Valley Bank - A Titanic Winner in the Pandemic

The early pandemic period was absolutely incredible, not only for the broader ecosystem, but for this bank in particular. Deposits in Silicon Valley Bank tripled during the pandemic, growing from $60 billion in 2019 to more than $180 billion in 2022. But as we've discussed in the show, the pandemic was not a pure, accelerant of economic trends it was more like a bubble. And kind of like the actual Titanic, S.V.B. was at this moment very possibly doomed.
