I was revisiting the work of Pauline Oliveros who is the composer and sound artist that I mentioned in the book. And something that I didn't mention in the book is that deep listening which is her phrase for you know this practice of listening inwardly and outwardly to everything that's possible to hear no matter what. It's also the name of her album from 1989 where she and a bunch of other musicians were in this underground cistern in Washington state. There's a photo actually of her in there I think within accordion. She had a 45 second reverberation time. If you can listen to it on good headphones.
