Is There a Limit to Deep Learning?

i wrote a piece in march an nautilus magazine called, deep learning is hitting a wall. And the point of it was not that we can't do anything with deep learning, but there are certain recurring prob like i'm talking about now and they were not really solving those. We know how to solve the problem of labelling the person and labelling the stopsign, but we don't know how to reason about people carrying other om goods. It's so primitive.
