We have a 27-year-old male with no prior medical history who comes to urgent care suffering from fever, fatigue, and muscle aches. His lab tests show a positive HIV test with a viral load of 2 million. The prognosis can be really quite good if they take care of themselves and follow the main objective of remaining undetectable or meaning such a low viral load that we won't detect it.
