The Role of Due Diligence in the EU's Human Rights Directive
The CS triple D is not only looking to include EU companies, but also larger non-European companies that own a portion of their revenue in the EU. The Commission was tasked to develop some sector-specific due diligence guidelines. Some industries identified as high risk are consumer industries like food, products and beverage.
