The Bravado of a High School Dropout

Matt Higgins dropped out of high school after his science teacher said he would see him at McDonald's. He was depressed and wanted to leave New York City, but couldn't find a job or place to live. After attending Springfield Gardens High School in Jamaica, Queens, Higgins went on to graduate from Queens College with a degree in political science. His new book is called "A Man Walks On To A Pitch"
