The Pathophys of Myasthenia Gravis
The ice pack test and the extended gaze testing are two very quick things that you can do to pretty much rule in myasthenia. The typical story you'll get out of fatigable weakness is they'll develop deplopia after watching a screen for a long time, or the muscle weakness gets worse with exercise. Dr Baskin: Some patients are more likely to be confused with having functional problems because often they'll have complaints, but they look perfectly fine.
