The Problems With Economics
The neoclassical paradigm came to dominate econ academia and policymaking, and basically has never left since. Even though there are upwards of a dozen schools of economic thought, all proposing diverse and complementary understandings about the economy. And what's worse is that we're not even told that these theories and models are simply one way to describe or illustrate phenomena. We're told that's just economics that is the right and unequivocal theories - which really impoverishes the field.
