How to Train AI Models to Be Safer
AI's are a product of the information they ingest and see the connections between. If all we do is train on that data and not instruct these models on how to produce safer outputs, then we won't be in a good place. And so for the med-pom paper, what we did is we worked with a panel of physicians to craft expert demonstrations of good model behavior. This was compared to 92.9% for clinicians.
