Carl Henry: The typical arguments against democracy is that it's so slow, you know it's cumbersome. And I think the last early about this tendency to prioritize, say short term gains in terms of economic policies but also in the sort of the rush to get votes. He says without freedom of speech and expression and media we won't really know what people want. Carl Henry: Do you see that kind of example being replicated elsewhere in other so-called developmental states like Ethiopia or even Rwanda? Could that happen over the Asian Tigers, some sort of an exception?"
