Tournaments - The Key to Continuing in the World
Hes imbibed the ideals of chivalry right alongside his practical training in horsemanship and arms. The combination of those two things tells him that deeds of prowess, preferably performed in front of an audience of his peers, or the key to furthering himself in the world. Tournaments were where all the chivalric values came together in their most visible form. They were evidence of a lord's generosity, one of the cors things that set apart the chivalrous from the common herd.
