The Role of Narrative in Bull and Bear Markets
I think we underestimate the role of narrative in bull and bear markets. The human brain responds to stories more more, perhaps, than actual data. I used to see it with a when i was in tein mining stocks back in the day. Mining is the most cyclical an area. They goes through boom and bust. And you know, the mining exploration stocks literally have nothing. But one time in a hundred they do find something that's worth while mining. And ad you can make many times your money. So the narrative just gets turned on its head.
