I was surprised by the acquittal, but it does bother me that someone who is a juvenile has some sort of emotional problems. The prosecution had to establish first guilt beyond a reasonable doubt on the offence itself, plus they had to defeat the self defence argument. It's hard to swallow that he was found not guilty on a number of lesser charges where the burden wasn't so high,. But, like you said, none of this undermines the tragic nature of it all. Because we have a living vigilante right that really matters and that is useful in this political battle. That characterization of written house as this hero, like he's been offered an internship by mat mat gates, things like that are disturbing
