The Neurodiversity Affirming Movement

Michelle: I think there's definitely aspects of personality disorder or features of personality disorders that do absolutely fit within what we would think of as neurodiversity. Neurodivergence is mainly a neurobiological difference to the average range, or the most common neuro type in society. But with complex trauma, like that does change your brain and you probably are going to have a different neurobiological response to the environment than someone who is neurotypical. So yeah, the answer is I don't know. Very frustratingly, our answer is, "I don't know"
