After You Won Poker, What Was the Reception Like?

I think a lot of people were surprised by this. People looked at the 2015 competition where we lost and they thought, oh, you know, bots are really far away from actually being a threat to poker. To see these top expert players losing by the margin that they did, I think really shocked the poker community. We got very lucky with the timing too because AlphaGo happened in 2016. And then immediately afterwards everybody's asking, okay, well, what's next? What games can an AI not play?"
