I try and put effort in every day that whoever I meet and interact with, that I really try to be respectful and kind. That's what I like trying to do. The rewards are a more solid sense of self going to bed every night and saying, I did my best today. And I quite like who I am. In your thirties, it's a lot easier. People don't really give a shit anymore about who's cool and who's not. And people are quite happy just to meet someone who isn't acting like a prick.
