When we talk about edge cases versus stress cases, what we're really talking about is just looking at the same situation through a different lens. If you take somebody who's going through a crisis scenario and you look at the world through their eyes, then you'll fix problems that might have just been a minor inconvenience for other people. In a sense, it's like doing high-speed crash tests when you're not a motive engineering. Like if you smack a car into a wall at 60 miles an hour, you might be able to improve it such that you save more lives at 30 mph collisions.
