The Importance of Filmmaking in Space

This whole segment, of course, on the alien planet is all footage from the Soviet productions that are sampled here. It removes any sense of mystery here. And it doesn't really add anything narratively to the film. But particularly in one segment coming up in a few minutes, I think it does actually have a very good affected achieving a mood - but we'll get to that.
