The end of paul's diary is found at the beginning of the diary in a clearly literary way. As a result, i can't regard this as a literal account of a visit to the future - it's a work of literature. It's an embodiment of the principle articulated by the irish novelist and playwright samuel beckett. And just like the first time, she made a wreath of wind flowers and asked paul to put them on her head before they went back. She then promised, she swore to me, that we'd come back.
