Is the UK Ahead in Technology?
I do think the UK is further ahead when it comes to the internet and the digital age. I still find it incredible that the Japan's had bullet trains since the late 60s, and there's never been a single fatality as a result of an accident on a bullet train - which is phenomenal. When it comes to certain types of technology, yeah, Japan is ahead. Like robots, for example, robot technology, robotics, transport. It's not a clear cut thing, really. A lot of people are impressed and surprised when they find it's not this magical wonderland.
