How to Structure a Language Course

I'm really liking this discussion of like how the course needs to be structured and how that effect is affected by what you want to teach. You have the students doing some world building at the beginning and then you start introducing linguistics concepts. That's teaching them to avoid the common mistake of the kitchen sink language, where they just throw every interesting thing into one language. And don't like it's, it's fine to have lots of different features, lots of odd features, but they have to fit together in the system. Right.
