Iron Therapy for Iron Deficient Patients

If we're lucky in the next couple of years, we're going to be able to replace it all with the reticulocyte hemoglobin content. That will come off the auto analyzer in the same 40 seconds that it takes for a CBC. Dr. Carlo Berniera and I are working with that using parallel iron T IPC and ferritins pre and post iron therapy for iron deficient patients. It seems like jury's still out on whether or not these patients should be getting iron.
