Is Justin Trudeau's Liberal Government a Loss Cause?

For me, the canary in the coal mine right now is that a lot of folks are struggling with cost of living. And I think this liberal government, in a very similar contrast to the BC liberals in 2017, are just so out of touch with understanding the challenges that people are facing. If your average Canadian perceives their lot in life to have gotten worse, if they perceive that their grocery bills are unaffordable and so on and so forth, that's the political reality that we have to inhabit. In any democratic political system, it matters like perception matters.
