How to Be a Successful Podcaster
I always script the first question verbatim. My goal as an interviewer was to help the guest roll out their ideas in a way that I thought listeners could absorb them. It means gliding over certain things that I don't think are so interesting. And it means focusing in on the part that I learned the most from. Those are things that I've just become they've become habitual to me and I don't know if they're all good. There's a handful of interviews where it's so precious that it's like going to a great musical or a great play or reading a great book.
