The Importance of Good Faith

The most egregious example of this when it comes to Vietnam in modern times and modern kind of pop discourse was the documentary that Ken Burns and Lynn Novick made for PBS in 2017, a 10 part 18 hour series on the Vietnam War. This is meant to humanize them and also functions as a way of justifying US action by obscuring the death and destruction waged by those who are the architects of the Vietnam and Iraq war. Adam Sobel: It's solipsistic hogwash. A lot of horrible wars and war crimes are committed in good faith. What does that even mean? There's no objective way of analyzing that.
