The Importance of Reading Thomas' Suma
When Luther is trained, these professors are given in books by Gabriel Beale to read. And when Luther is absorbing this, well, Beale misinterprets Aquinas to Luther. It's very different than Martin Bootzer or others who are trained in Thomism,. unlike Luther. When you move on from Luther, what do you find? Well, I think you find other reformers more informed than Luther was because of their Thomas upbringing.
