Is Horror a Way of Dealing With Existential Issues?

I think that idea that they can act as a way to kind of deal with normal real world issues through like an exaggerated scope is absolutely valid. Like I feel like kind of Eldre Char and Cosmic Horror exist to kind of reckon with the fact like if the universe doesn't have any kind of direction and it's all meaningless, then what are you doing? Yeah I think it is really interesting to think about horror as a way of exploring and in almost in a sense in escaping the spots in your mind rightlike if you're plagued by an idea and you can't stop thinking about how terrifying it is.
