Python is now written in Rust, but still I think a majority is in Python. It's 70 30, right? 70% being Python. Why Rust? We had designed a particular API for plug-in authors that was really easy to use and is based on essentially having async rule functions. And writing larger and larger builds was spending more and more time in scheduling. So the V2 engine, which is in pants two, is implemented in Rust.
