The Importance of Having Friends in the Same Culture
I felt so isolated and alone through, I would say, middle school. My first time really feeling a sense of belonging came when I joined the track team in high school. It was my first real sense of a community. And later on, comedy took the place of that community. Yeah, comedy is a very specific community.
