The Crucifixion of Peter

The squalor, the shame and humiliation that is implicit in a crucifixion has been transmuted by centuries of Christian history. Peter will indeed emerge as the rock on which Christ's church is built. And all the glories and the splenders of papal Rome will follow. In some ways they're very different but in other ways I think there are kind of analogies There are parallels.
