The Russians Want to Outrage the World
BBC Russia has already been expelled from the country. A lot of Moscow based English language correspondence are now reporting out of Riga or other Baltic capitals and they're no longer on the ground. It's a nice kind of consequence of it. And the outrage that holding an American hostage in the absence of any credible deterrence, why how does that bother? "It's not a problem for the world to be outraged if there's no credible action that can be taken against him," he says.
