The Home Gaming System of the Future
Ralph Bayer's home gaming system went on sale for 99 dollars in 19 72. The t v behind him is black with a thick white line down the middle. On each side of the line is a paddle made of a short line of white dots. Bouncing between them is the ball, just one small dot. When their paddles connect with the ball, it sails from one side of t v screen to the other.
