The Elements of Hope in Suspense
There is an element of hope, that there's a thing that you're hoping is gonna happen. One form of anticipation that I don't see on your list, though, it arguably could be a part of suspense: the idea of inevitability. If we have seen a character do a certain thing in a certain situation every previous time that that situation has arrived, then all of a sudden you can present us with that situation again and we know what's gonna happen. You can see this a lot in no country for old men, for example, where we suddenly find ourselves in this situation because we've seen it happen before. That inevitability just adds so much tension into it.
