Overthinking is both destructive and also incredibly mentally draining. When you begin to find yourself spiraling, approach your anxiety with excitement. Excitement and anxiety feel remarkably similar. They elicit the same racing thoughts,. The same feeling in our stomach, the same physical reactions. That way, you're no longer treating the somatic reaction as dangerous or something to be fearful of. We need to get out of our minds and into our bodies.
