The Effects of Capsaicin on Hair Growth

The study used a third model of stress induction which is called most deceptive stress so that's pain induced stress. And they do this by injecting analog of capsaicin, the chemical in for example tear gas but also in hot peppers that is unpleasant. You'll see patches of gray hair but I don't know it was I never systematically thought about it. But what they see is that with this with an injection of this capsaicin analog that there are large parts of the fur coat that become gray. This happens throughout the whole body so not just locally in the area where this this toxin is injected.
