The Death of Darcy Allan Sheppard [3]
Canadian True Crime
00:00
The Court Prosecution of Michael Bryant
Special independent prosecutor richard peck, did not beat around the bush. He said that based on the information available to the lice when they charged michael bryant, there were reasonable and probable grounds to lay charges. But since that date, a great deal more has been learned from what peck described as the ongoing investigation. Darcy then came across the toronto police, who noted he was acting belligerently and had been drinking, but allowed him to proceed on his way. Now this is another one of those situations where i am applying context in hindsight with information that was not publicly available at the time.
