Are We Seeing Fully Grown Adults in the Early Universe?
Astrophysicists and cosmologists are looking for some way to explain this. Some argue that it could be down to what they describe as population three stars but from what I've read no one's ever actually observed conclusively a population three star. It would suggest that these galaxies are forming in the blink of an eye by what physical mechanism we do not know basically. There is also suggestions that dark matter which has long been used to plug the holes in the existing big band cosmology may play a role too.
