Introduction
It took me a long time to ask to be amitra. My conditioning was quite a sceptical conditioning. I had lots of questions. And i also think, in my own way, was quite individualistic. Probably i was wary of groups. But at the same time, i got very involved with activities round the centre. It was eight years before i asked for ordination. On that particular retreat, it was a few days before the whole, the full pooja was introduced. So that was the point at which i knew that i wanted to ask for Ordination.
