PCH and AFP's War on Subscriptions
PCH promised that no subscription to their magazine was needed to win their sweepstakes, right? Well, their workers apparently didn't get that message and threw away entries from several thousand individuals. As part of a settlement to resolve this issue, everyone who entered had to be entered into a new drawing. And unfortunately for PCH, this wasn't the only controversy they found themselves in around this time as more lawsuits began rolling in almost as quickly as their subscriptions.
