I Can't Find Your Language, but You Can All Speak Different Languages

There's lots of sci-fi that discusses this. My favourite one is Babel 17, in which you can essentially program people. In Snow Crash, it's almost framed like it's a thing that free does to be able to think more freely and in different ways. It makes you wonder sort of because maybe I have a basic linguistic relativism and di-stamps.
