The Most Important Thing Is That There Is Not One Thing That Is Realism
There are many efforts to kind of resurrect elements of what's called classical realism, like honor and prestige. Some people see these as overly parsimonious explanatory gaps in realism. I'm very sympathetic to that argument, but the book doesn't really come to any new conclusions about foreign policy. And so I obviously have some major disagreements with that as well.
