The Importance of Rating Goals in Chess
Jim has been maintaining his rating despite having a very strong obsession. In order for the ELO to really reflect where he's at, Jim would need to play players on different levels. Make sure that the player are a lot of rated OTV games Or choose some online rating that you can get more games in. If you don't have the volume then you won't really get that feedback.
