The peril is to overstate the power of social media and its influence in our life. I don't think that people who see a bunch of anti vax articles on facebook are like, oh, my god, i didn't know. And yes, that does happen to some people who go around the bend, but they've been going around the bend for thousands of years. It's just inthe function of age, boredom, tribalism.
