Are You of the Devil?

He's humbling them. Like his heart is always to win his adversary, even when they're unwilling. So here again, he's calling you to remember your identity and who you are. And then he says, whoever makes practice of sinning is of the devil. There's only two fathers ultimately in the spiritual sense: Father God who has adopted wicked people and redeemed them as his own and the father of the Devil.
